Here Comes The Sun

Hello there everybody. I woke up and I can't get back to sleep so I came online for a bit and of course seeing as I got Trillian working again no one is online to talk to.

The other non-exciting thing to be happening is I've been emailing MSN User Support to try and get MSN Messenger working, and so far it's taken 7 emails but I think we may be getting a weeny bit closer to either solving the problem or them giving up and saying "Look, you said you can get Trillian to connect, just use that :p"

Also I might be getting a copy of Photoshop 7 to play with and get instruction on how to use from someone I know who is very good with it, which could be really cool :D The only slight problem is that it's in german, but I'll be able to ask what things mean and write it down and I'm sure
I'll get the hang of it in no time. I hope so anyway, I get so jealous of the stuff she manages to do with it and it's so unfair! :D
I don't think she really knows that I seriously want her to send it to me, but I'll ask tomorrow when she's online again :)

Hopefully that means I'll be able to get some learning done!
I should also be using the downloaded tutorials and stuff to try and learn some Java (not Javascript! Yes, there is quite a difference, just don't ask me what it is yet ;)) which, if I can understand it, will be my first Proper programming language, because people often don't count html and css, because you don't have to compile them (put them through a programme that turns what you wrote into something the computer can understand and read).

It supposedly one of the easier languages to learn, and with my not-so-hot maths it could be ok. Ok just talking to people about it they say that it's horrible to Use, but easy to Learn. Great. Well it could be my step up on the way to learning more complicated but useful languages.

I guess the problem is, when not Having to learn it for school it's easier just to put it off. But I really would like to keep increasing my knowledge of different things even though I'm not in a formal institution of education. Or something like that anyway :)

Wow this is long-ish now. I'll post it so I don't lose it, and possibly post again later if I can think of anything else to say.
