*coughcoughhackcough*
I'm sick, how cool is that? But also I do get to go away to Taupo this weekend so hopefully I don't get any worse.
We're going away for Mum and Dad's silver wedding anniversary. Wow. That's 25 years. Mum's friends keep going "why are you taking other people away with you on your wedding anniversary??" but Mum and Dad just wanted to have some nice time with their friends who they don't see all that often, and they invited us too.
I might not be able to go swimming when we are there because of this stupid cold, but next week I'm going to the circus!! My dad knows some people who are hired in NZ to do advertising for the circus and we got a bunch of half price tickets for it, so I've invited some people. If you aren't one of those people it's because I think you are too busy and I see you enough anyway.
I actually got some mail today too, it was from the vampire people with a card saying that my blood type is O+ and I can go back anytime I vant to.
When I was there the guy said I had good veins too.
I've started these "Free and Easy" courses at UCOL; only at the Te Hono computer place just down the road..they opened it to try and reach the people in "this part of town" but it's much more convenient because it only takes about 10 mins to walk there. The courses are just about the MS office programmes, but I'm not very good with Excel and I need proof to put in my CV that I can use a computer. It gives me something else to do as well.
And next week I'll also sign up for the benefit - woohoo watch me sponge off the taxpayers..I'm just making up for all the work I did and tax I had to pay in England, you know their tax rate is about 25%???
And in other good news I (with assistance) found out about a LAN group club thing at Massey which has a LAN every month, and our computers should have arrived for the next one!!
Oh but I need to order the parts to actually be able to use them, which costs more moneeeyyyy..I might have to start declining all the invitations to movies and take my own food to LANs
until I have an income of some sort.
Computers are so much more important than food.
