Wow, it's 8am and I'm actually awake, and I've been awake since about 6.15am instead of 12pm. There was a car crash at about 6.30ish which is why I am still awake, because Chris and I decided to get up and wrap up warm to go have a bit of a rubber-neck. Fortunately no-one was injured but it looked to me like the car was written off...what does a written off car actually look like? This one had the bonnet all buckled up and the front bumper smashed in but if there wasn't any more damage I guess it could be repaired.

So I'm obviously going to sleep extra extra early tonight.

Woohoo our network cables arrived today so things are getting ready for when the shipping arrives! Unfortunately our ordered switch is out of supplier stock so it'll be in mid next week and our computers may even arrive before it does.

Another welcome addition to my room is a small bar heater which is very nice in the chilly mornings and nights as well because my room only gets the "afternoon sun" which doesn't seem to exist in winter.

Argh tidy tidy tidy...oh and I need to remember to measure the space on the wall for making a set of shelves to put books and videos on because there's not just computers in those boxes.

I meant to tidy my room today, but a big fuzzy ginger cat got in the way...
