Missing cat, comatose dentist.

Yay I got the material to make my top today! It's nice dark blue brocade, with a dragon/phoenix pattern on it. The top is chinese-style and if you're more interested you can go to www.simplicity.com and click on the Design Search link down the side, the number is 6203 and I'm going to make one of the short patterns.

In other good news something else we've ordered for computer bits should be arriving tomorrow and we're getting sorted out with our shipping from England too (even though it has had a sneak extra charge of $80 put on it - damn MAF).
So I actually have to get around to applying for the benefit now which I guess is a good thing.

When I'm not working work seems too hard and too much hassle, but when I've actually got a job it's ok. At the moment I also want to get a job so we can go flatting, it's getting annoying at home, which might get a bit better when we're not trying to share computers, but who knows.

Grizzles has disappeared for the past hour or so; it's raining a lot outside and usually he'd want to be indoors, or at least come in when we called him but he hasn't. I hope he's ok.

I have a dentist appointment tomorrow and I might get to have a root canal. What fun. I hope I don't have to because it's expensive and very likely to be painful. I might not have to because my tooth hasn't been hurting that much, but still a bit on and off. I hope my dentist lady knows what to do with it because when she asks me if she should put in a permanent filling, or root canal it, or just leave it for a bit longer I have no idea what to do.
Isn't she meant to know these things?
It's quite strange going to a dentist who is about 5 years older than you at the most and with an assistant who is your age. Especially when the dentist says about how she had too much to drink and coma-ed out at a party she had at the weekend...
She does ask the other dentist guy stuff she's not sure about though, which is better than just guessing, right? Sometimes I get the feeling I should change dentist but it seems sort of rude especially half way though the treatment of my possible root canal tooth. Plus I'd have no idea who else is good (and/or cheap) or if all dentist's are like her really (minus the coma bit).

I must apply for these jobs tomorrow, but now is the time to sleep.
