work - no work

So what's new for today?

Not this friday but the next one is when the first wave of people are going to stop having to turn up to work. I'm not too worried at the moment, I'm more curious about when I should get my holiday pay and how the bonus is worked out. Time to start checking my contract.

It should be an interesting environment at work since that news has been given, everyone talking about who will get laid off first and how to still qualify for the dole.

Things are quite busy after work too, I only just get enough time to check my email and maybe have another half an hour on the computer before I go to bed. I'm enjoying having time doing different things with different people and catching up with friends, but it feels a bit pointless to have bought that new book. It can always wait.

Ugh I have to update my CV now too. I don't like doing that, but at least I have someone who is willing to check it over and see how employable it looks.
Yay for having to look for a new job.
