Mmm...beer...

The Friday I was on my way to Silent Camp (three weeks ago?), my boyfriend and one of our friends from work won a $50 bar tab each at a quiz night our work's social club ran. So last Saturday the three of us went to Murphy's Law pub for lunch. It was really nice and quiet, and the food was great. We got 3 full meals and three rounds out of the $100 so that was really good.

I tried Mac's Gold, it was actually quite nice, all malt or something. I think maybe the taste in beer that I don't really like is the hops. I'm just trying Steinlager Pure at the moment, it's quite nice too. It still has the hops in it, but they don't hang around as a nasty aftertaste so it's not so bad.

Recent events... umm.. it was Mum's birthday last week and she had four different event/dinners to celebrate it. I went to three of them and they were nice. The seating ended up pretty crap for one of the dinners, and then I got into a bad mood at the start of another one. I think the dinners went ok for Mum,in spite of my immature sulking.

I also spent all of that week at my boyfriend's house. I don't think I've done that before. It was pretty nice, it was a bit annoying that he said he was going to clean the house when I was at Silent Camp (yes, three weeks ago) but nothing had happened about it. My boyfriend says I'm not to do the cleaning at his house, but then no one else does it either.

My boyfriend is looking for another job. He really doesn't like his one anymore. I hope he looked in the job section like he said he was going to. He wants to find just about anything within the area that pays him enough to keep his budget afloat - which luckily isn't too much.

It will be odd when he does get his new job, because we've both worked in the same buiding for almost the past three years. I may have to find new people to sit with at break times, because at least one of the other guys has no clue about how to talk to girls. I don't think he even knows that it's possible. That means it gets pretty boring, particularly when they start talking about sports *yawn*

Speaking of yawning - it's time for me to finish this ramble and put myself to bed. Good night!
