Evil Stepmother

As of 3.27pm 30 January 2008, I am officially an almost-mother!

From my history of only blogging when I am completely stressed out, I would have expected to have a new one on here by now.

My partner's daughter arrived this afternoon, along with his mother and grandfather. They'll be staying until mid next week. She will be staying for two years! That's all good, but slightly stressful, as you might imagine.

I promised my best friend that I would do a night-school Russian language class with her at the local high school.

A friend from work has roped me into participating in the production of the Vagina Monologues she is directing.

I decided that it's probably time to get me some tertiary education, one paper at a time, extramurally, from a local university.

Each of these things individually is great, but having them happen all at once is a bit much with working full-time and all that.

Since I'll be on the computer procrastinating, instead of doing my essays, I might actually update this a couple of times over the next year or so!

If I survive step-motherhood, that is.

I need to practice my evil cackle...
